Joey Hike - Freres Crossing

Activity Overview
We will be following the track down to Frere's Crossing and having a snack break and look around the crossing before returning to the parking area.
We will meet at the entrance to the fire trails at the end of Freres Road in Kentlyn at 9:30am for a start shortly after people arrive. Please be on time as we will no wait too long before we start.
Packing list:
Please wear Joey uniform including long pants, Scout shirt, scarf (if you have them), otherwise long pants and a shirt is ok for this hike.
enclosed walking shoes (joggers, hiking boots)
Hat
Backpack with the following:
jumper/jacket
rain jacket if you have one
snacks/brunch - we will be having a longer break as well as some short stops along the way
sunscreen
water bottle (filled)
small first aid pack (ziplock bag with a couple of bandaids is enough)
optional - insect repellent
Please ensure any required medication is clearly labelled with Joey's name and dosage instructions and given to leaders.
You may want to have a towel, spare pair of shoes and socks and set of clothes in the car just in case someone gets wet.
