Activity Overview
The Scouts are going to Mermaid Pools!
This is a Scout-led camp. Scouts will be camping at Warrabunda Scout Camp, hiking down to Mermaid Pools and constructing a pioneering project. Warrabunda is a simple camp, but toilets and showers are available.
Clothing & Equipment
Weather at this time of year is unpredictable, so please pack accordingly. Please keep in mind sun-safety, all Scouts are required to wear sunsafe clothing (hat, sunscreen etc) when participating in outdoor activities. We plan on swimming in Mermaid Pools (depending on prevailing weather and conditions) so please pack accordingly.
Uniforms are not necessary on this camp.
Travel Arrangements
Scouts will arrange their own travel to Warrabunda. We recommend carpooling where possible. Entrance is via Rockford Rd, Tahmoor.
Catering
Food is included in the cost of the camp EXCLUDING FRIDAY NIGHT. Scouts will be cooking in patrols for the weekend according to the menu. Scouts must bring their own mess kit.
Please eat dinner before arrival on Friday or bring something simple for Friday dinner as our kitchen will not be set up for dinner.

Supervision
This activity will be conducted under direct or indirect adult supervision. Both male and female leaders will be present.
